Mac OS X Leopard vs Windows Vista

Mac OS X Leopard was launched recently (see our coverage) amid much hype and anticipation. Quite a few remarks have been made, with flowers, punches and everything in between thrown in. Users have boasted about the refined look, feel and functionality of Leopard, whereas some have written about terrible bugs and lack of backward compatibility for software. We have also written about the worthiness of upgrading to Leopard, from Tiger.

Windows Vista was launched early this year for home users (late last year for business customers), with more complaints and swears about the excess eye candy. The lacklustre launch was not close to the launch of Leopard, and nobody’s complaining - there’s no loyal community as in Apple’s case.

Hack-attack: Macs targeted by p*rn site authors

To say that this week has been a hectic one would be an understatement. Problems like iPhone bricking and Leopard troubles continue, but things have taken a peculiar twist this week - nasty hackers are sending out malicious code targeted at Macs (that’s something!). Apple limits iPhone sales

We’ve heard about Mac OS X Leopard quite a few times last week (my posts). Now, I guess it is time for iPhone to bask in some glory.

Apple, in a move that enraged many potential customers, have restricted the sale of iPhone per person to two, with payment by credit card only. Apple explains that this is to curb reselling practices by buyers, and that they are finding it difficult to supply enough iPhones for the market.
